Madden NFL 21 PC Crashing/Freezing

Trying to play on Play Pro through Origin. Game keeps freezing and unable to do anything with it. I have only made it past the intro splash screen twice. Once it freezes then I can't get past that sc...

    I had the same issue with the game freezing and having to close it, restart my PC as origin wouldn't close madden. 

    Anyways, I believe I've fixed my issue. I was running directx 12 but the game settings were set as direct x 11. 

    Settings > Settings > Settings > Graphics > then making sure directx version is correct. 

    I also changed it so Origin closes whilst in game. In the app go to Origin > Application Settings > Origin In-Game > disable Origin In-Game.

    Both of these changes have seemed to solve my issues.

@Conklin66 Is it doing that for you only at 4K? So far I've been able to play hours, level 25 now, even leaving it on when I am doing other stuff, but my resolution is a lot lower than that.

Which part of the mode? Loading Save Game (Still in High School)
Summarize your bug:  Cannot load a saved game.  It will get stuck on the loading screen and nothing happens. 
Steps: Try to load face of the franchise save. 
What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes have to open task manager to close game.
What do you expect to see? game to load
