Madden19 Crash to Desktop/Freeze on loading screen

Hi All,

After installing Madden19, the game is determined to not let me play.

Playing an exhibition game lets me choose team/difficulty settings then freezes on the splash screen.

Playing practice mode gets past the splash screen but crashes to desktop with no error after letting me get a glimpse of the field for a couple nanoseconds.

I've checked and I meet recommended system requirements (dxdiag is attached) and I've tried updating drivers, updating Nvidia geforce drivers, changing settings.  Changed settings to lowest possible allowed at 720 and problem still persists.  I've tried everything in the other relevant threads with no success.  It seems others out there with better rigs than mine are having the same issue.  So it seems to be an issue with the game itself.

So does EA have an ETA on hotfix for this? This is extremely frustrating.

    ur problem its like mine and a lot of other People.

    U are using a Phenom Prozessor, its from the Power enough CPU.

    But Phenom Prozessor doesnt support SSE4.1/4.2

    I hope they will fix this Problem like in other Games

    Thanks for replying.  I have found all the memory dumps too from these crashes.  Hopefully EA will start requesting them to get to the bottom of this.

    Same exact issue here...

    Attached is my dxdiag. Can't get beyond the loading screen after setting my team and style of play.

    @Seeweavle

    You are likely seeing a CPU compatibility issue as posted above.

    @patrickres99

    You have some Windows Update errors in your Dxdiag, try to download and install any available Windows Updates.

    There are also some game related errors and it is the same error you are seeing in some other games.

    I think your best bet is to do a clean video driver install. Please download the following video driver uninstaller and use that to fully remove your existing video drivers before running the driver installer.

    Thanks @EA_Barry !!! 

    I appreciate you taking the time to help. I really want this to work. 

    1. I cleared my video card drivers with the utility you suggested.

    2. I then did a fresh install of the drivers. 

    3. Next, I updated windows fully.

    4. I then reboot my computer a final time.

    5. I made sure I didn't have any controller plugged into my computer

    It's still not working. The game lets me into the menu, but the minute I attempt to start any game in any mode, the game freezes on the black loading screen with the football on the bottom-right corner. 

    I've attached a screenshot showing my windows is up-to-date. I've additionally attached a screenshot showing my GPU drivers are up-to-date. I've also run another DxDiag and have attached it. Lastly, I took a screenshot of my video card settings, and have attached it. 

    Please help! I haven't played Madden in years, I've heard this is a fantastic one, and football season is back!
