Major issue with Logitech Dual Shock and PS4 controllers.

So I found this out to when i couldnt get my controller to work in Battlefield. In order to get a ps4 controller to work on Origin, add your Origin application to Steam, then open up 'Big Picture Mode' and start origin through that, and then the controller will be recognized as a Xbox Controller.

If anyone's looking for a good option to use DS4 controllers on your PC without having to run Steam big picture or getting Sony's bluetooth dongle, I have been using DS4Windows for years and it's worked very well for me. You can customize all the buttons, use the touch pad as a mouse and it's very responsive. Occasionally it can hiccup a bit and if you want to play with more than 2 controllers you will need to have exclusive mode enabled which will require you turning off one of nvidia's services in the background because they conflict (NVIDIA Loacalsystem Container I believe it is), but if you're using 2 controllers or less you should never need to worry about it.

Xinput doesn't work, I've tried out 2 different controllers now and the game finds them but the mapping is really messed up... Right trigger=A, Left Trigger=B, Up and Down is reversed and so on.

Please fix this.

Okay here is how to make the Dualshock 4 to work on ALL Origin Games

Step 1. add Origin to Steam

2.) Open Steam through big picture mode

3.) Launch Origin through big picture mode, while the controller is ON

Thats it, after you do those easy steps the controller will be recognized as a Xbox one controller on Every Origin game that has X-Input.
