We've seen other overlays cause some conflicts with Origin. Can you try closing all other programs down and try again? If that doesn't work, try a clean boot and then immediately launch Origin as administrator. This is how you can identify whether it's something running in the background causing the invites to not register.

Try clearing Origin's cache with these steps and then right-click on the Origin shortcut desktop and run as administrator. Right-click on the game in Origin and select "Repair" before launching it again. You said you had over 130 friends. We've seen some reports in Apex Legends on how a large friends list could weird effects. I don't want to ask you to remove friends to troubleshoot this and re-add them because that can be time consuming/inconvenient. I'm not sure if there are some players on there that could be removed though if you're willing to try.

Cache clear did nothing. Dropped myself to 64 friend and now i have a friend list in game. So immensely frustrating this has been

I can’t play friends in Madden Ultimate Team, it’s wont let me send invites or join them

I’ve had the disc version of Madden NFL 20 since launch && I have been unable to invite my friends or even know if my friends on online to do challenges or play squads in MUT?? Is therre a fix for this??

Are both you and your friend showing up as online as your status?

Are you inviting your friend when they are at the main menu of Madden? If they're in a different game mode it should prompt them to go back to the main screen for another invite.

Have you tried deleting the Origin client from your PC and re-downloaded it?
