We know it's happening. This one appears to be a really tough bug to reproduce and is very random. We're hoping to get a variety of footage of what players are doing leading up to it happening to see if we can locate a root cause to trigger this event. I'm sorry if it came off as not believing you, it's definitely not that. If we can get some footage and your Gamertag/PSN ID we'll swing it their way ASAP.
I've just read a suggested solution that it might be related to a corrupted cache (thanks to @SportsKing812 for sharing it here: Solo Draft Still not working correctly — EA Forums):
