MUT Leaderboards - How are the Rankings Determined

I would appreciate a response from an EA Manager on this question. I want it to be accurate. I want to know specifically how the MUT Seasons leaderboard calculates it's rankings? I have been told it's mainly or heavily weighted toward coins earned, but nothing online provides any specifics as to how the leaderboard works.

EA does charge a fee for opening packs. I think it's only fair to have the leaderboard explained, in detail? Coins Earned? Do solos factor in? Is it just based on games played in MUT seasons ONLY, etc...
