Mut points won’t show up

So I bought a pre-paid card from GameStop two days ago for 1050 mut points but I have not received the mut points in my account and i don’t know what to do. It shows that I entered the code in on my transaction history but never gave me my points so did I just waste money ?

  • @TTZ_Dipsy It says there is no advisors available. When is there usually people available is it like a time thing or is it a they will be available when they can

    Which platform did you redeem it for? Be sure to look at your wallet balance, some of those gift cards don't actually grant the points directly but add funds to your wallet so you can add that amount of points in our game.

    If the code was successfully redeemed and the points weren't granted to your Xbox/PlayStation account, Xbox Support and PlayStation Support should also be able to verify they weren't received and help push them to your account (if it wasn't related to wallet balance)

    Sorry mate, didn't see the reply. They have regular work hours (I can't remember the exact hours of operation but we can use 9am-4pm Eastern as a decent baseline). if you request someone during regular work hours and nobody picks up (there are various reasons why something might have happened), just retry - no harm done.

    As Blueberry pointed out, it's possible these pre-paid cards add a specific balance to your store wallet, not the in-game menu (these types of cards are sort of uncommon, so apologies I didn't pick up on that right away); this is a way of circumventing the minimum deposit rules which can be super beneficial for games with cheap MTX. You said it shows the transaction going through which is perfect so I'm sure one of the agents, whether it be EA or sony/microsoft, will be able to sort it out.
