I don't think a cancel matchmaking button would help in the middle of loading a squads game. They need to just fix this bug in general. I can't believe this bug was in Madden NFL 20 and they still havent fixed the issue. Absolutely absurd.

When the game is getting stuck on the loading screen, does it seem like the image is going dim?

No the game isnt getting dim, for me it just says an error occured while starting your game and its not just in ultimate team I tried loading up an exhibition game and it said the same thing, I legit ant play anyone, I tried logging out of my ea account and logging back in, restarting the app, turning playstation off and nothing, I havent been able to play anyone for 3 days now.
No it does not seem to go dim, but the loading screen seems to just be "covering" the squads matchmaking screen, because I can feel controller input like I can on the matchmaking menu.

Can we try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help with the loading issues? When you have a chance I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity steps over at the EA Help site. If the same issue keeps happening after that check out the platform-specific steps as well:

So I dont think its a connection issue on my end because I CAN successfully matchmake and play games in H2H-- the problem only seems to effect squads matchmaking. Also tried all of these troubleshooting options aside from changing my DNS and none made a difference.
Please fix madden 21 loading screens this game wasn’t worth the money

Does it seem like this is happening when you're trying to play Squads with a particular friend, or is it just any time you're playing period?/Kent
This happens when I queue by myself, no friends to play with ☹️
- @EA_Kent no if the image stay the same that means it never going to load, if the image change then it starts the game
