MUT Trade Scam

So I was playing Madden Ultimate Team on Madden 15 for Xbox 360. My team is only 78 overall. This guy was offering me help during a game by giving me tips. He was being a very nice person and was a good guy overall... Or so I thought. He then sent me a friend request and asked me if I could loan him my 95 Overall Super Bowl edition Bobby Wagner so he can play in his Superbowl (we played when it was the Conference Championship). I said okay as long as he returned it, and he agreed to my terms. He gave me a 67 LOLB as a position filler then deleted me off of his friends list and is not responding to any messages or friend requests I send him even though I can see he is playing MUT on his activity. Now I lost the best defensive player on my team and I cannot do a thing about it. Now, I understand that I might not get a free 95 Overall Bobby Wagner to replace the one I was scammed out of but can I please get the 70,000 coins he costs to but from the auction block? I have read other articles that say trade is a mutual understanding, but that makes no sense since I had no knowledge of the fact that he was going to scam me? I really need to get my player back because he was the dominant force that helped me defense stop runs ans short passes. I will explain more if I am emailed because certain things cannot be said here.

It's sad to say it, but all EA will tell you is that regardless of what was agreed to outside of the trade block, he offered you a trade, and you accepted it. We all know that nobody in their right mind would agree to that trade without outside stipulations, but since the rest of the agreement was outside the madden economy, there is nothing EA will likely do.

In the future if you are going to loan a player to another user you should ask for enough collateral to equal the cost of the player you are loaning. If this is done then the other user is less likely to run off with your card.

It stinks, but in all likelihood that card is gone and you probably won't get him back.

of freaking course! This is why i hate scammers.... They can do whatever the hell they want and EA is not going to do a damn thing about it. I swear to god all scammers can rot in hell

You should just report him in game for cheating.  If enough reports are generated on a user, they generally will at least be looked at by EA.  No guarantee that something will happen to them but it's better than not doing anything.
