Are you both seeing this same "Unable to Process Request" error? Also, which system are you playing on? The Madden 20 servers are currently up and running, so if you're unable to connect there's got to be something interfering with the connection to MUT.
We might be able to try some additional steps that could get you back online.

Thanks! The speed of the connection can definitely be a factor when it comes to connection issues, but there are some other things we'll need to try troubleshooting as well. First, I'd recommend starting off with the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. That's a good place to begin with issues like this.
If you're still having trouble connecting after that please try the PS4-specific steps as well. Let me know if you're still having any trouble afterward.

- 6 years ago@EA_Kent I have tried nearly everything on the list and it still won't work. I thought that the new update this morning would fix it. It did work when I first logged on, then I got booted off and it hasn't worked since.

Thanks for giving it a shot. Would you be able to try changing your PS4 to a different DNS server to see if that helps? I've seen cases where using a different DNS such as the public Google DNS has helped with issues like this. To update the DNS settings on your console follow the steps below:
1. Open up the Settings on your PS4, then got o Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either wifi or LAN cable depending on what you're using.
2. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual)
3. Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS.
4. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet ConnectionLet me know if you're still unable to get connected after that.
