I figured out how to fix the problem. At the games home screen go into settings then gameplay option and change the playbooks off of team specific. I hope this works for everyone else good luck

Can anyone else confirm this works as a viable workaround fix? The team has been notified of this.
I found this to work, however only once. The problem continues with a new playbook change.
1. Initial PB is Steelers.
2. Change MUT PB to Cardinals. But in game it is still Steelers.
3. Change Main Menu PB. Now Cardinals PB in MUT.
4. Change PB again, Cowboys this time. But in game, it's Cardinals stuck now.
5. Change Main Menu PB to "unstick"
6. Repeat.
So yes., it does work. But everytime I change PB I have to change it in the Main Menu also. Its constantly getting stuck.

Yes I do have Tomlin as my head coach.
That doesn’t work! Don’t y’all think we know this already. Changing the playbook in the settings screen before starting ultimate team DOES NOT WORK. Problem still exist. Running 4-3 Defense only. No matter what * playbooks I buy.
Or what coach I use or what setting I change in ultimate team. Or Out ultimate team. Ect.... it all cowboys defense.
