Community ManagerCould potentially be the amount of packets your router can send at once, so either upgrading to a newer/gaming router or log into the current one you have to make some network adjustments.
Some routers having gaming modes in which you can enable and Quality of Service where you can designate which services you use the internet for have priority. To log into your router the instructions are usually on the router itself. Opening up the ports/port ranges can be advised if you see some congestion happening.
Glad we seem to be on the right track figuring out the root cause though. Keep us updated!
Im literally trying to prove my connection problems to my isp but they're refusing to believe anything because the tests they're doing on their end is showing no problems with my connection which doesn't paint the exact picture as to what im experiencing. If my connection is fine I shouldn't be lagging in every online game.
So, I think im going to invest in my own router and see if that makes a difference. I have read various articles on the internet stating that if your experiencing lag in games the first thing you should do is to upgrade your router as the default isp routers aren't really the best well they are free and given to every customer after all which kinda explains. If doesn't improve then im out of ideas. Ive tried everything possible and my isp is telling me my connection is fine. Its kinda like the gaming gods have decided they won't allow me to game online xD
