Online Madden 19 PS4 franchise not registering completed games

Today our connected franchise PS4 online has failed to recognise completed games twice (2 separate occasions).

The game recognises the game has been played on the franchise weekly schedule (times played x 1) but no final score or stats are logged.

We even have both games complete and archived on a YouTube channel. 

Very frustrating, any ideas? There was an update today....is it that????
