PC Issue - Xbox Controller Acting Strange After Update

I've checked with all my xbox controllers to confirm it is not happening with just one of them.  The game has been working/playing fine until the most recent update.  I had noticed some other weird things in the game such as all my settings being reset but the controller issue makes it unplayable.  It is similar to the issue from Madden 19 but way more frustrating.  In the menus it won't register correctly when I select an option.  The menu flashes and I have to hit the button a few times to get to the next screen.  During the game when checking the playart or making an audible the camera stays zoomed out.  Selecting plays is painful because the same issues from the menu screens happens when selecting a play.  I cannot play the game until this has been fixed and really dissapointed because I was enjoying the experience up until this point.  I also noticed PC users did not get the new features/tweaks from the patch released this week, dissapointed that PC users are an afterthought.  Seems the only thing they offered PC users this week is to F everything up.
