[pc] madden 20 pink tint when in full screen

I am playing on a 50 inch Samsung 4k TV and when I launch Madden 20 through Origin, the screen becomes washed out and pink. Madden 19 works fine and when I switch the picture to windowed, everything works perfectly fine. I am playing in windowed, but obviously want to be able to play in full screen at some point. I don't have the options for HDR as my TV doesn't support it according to my computer for some reason so that fix will not work for me.

I looked into this some more. The only resolution we know of is to use a monitor that supports HDR. Obviously that's not possible for you. I'm really sorry. I know it's not ideal, but for now you'll have to stick to using windowed mode. We're aware of the issue so it's possible it could be addressed in the future.

Hi there, @SaltDogActual013. Can you take a look at the Color Blindness setting and see if it's enabled? Also, does your graphics card have the latest drivers?

  • I have all the current drivers installed and the color blindness settings don't change anything about it being pink and washed out. The only thing that fixes it is playing in windowed mode.

Thanks for the details, @SaltDogActual013. Can you try rolling back your graphics drivers to an earlier version to see if there's a difference?

  • I have done that, went back 2 editions and nothing helped. All other games work fine, to include Madden 19. It's just Madden 20 in fullscreen that does this
