Hey @billhartung.
It's definitely weird that it's only happening on the Player 2 side. Have you tested this with multiple controllers to see if that makes any difference at all?

Gotcha. Does it happen no matter what team, lineup, or playbook you're using? Have you tested different combinations to see if that makes a difference?

- 6 years ago@EA_Kent It happens with all teams we have tried. We have tried at least 5 or 6 different ones. The only time this problem doesn’t happen is when after I start installing the game ( with no updates) when the game allows you to play the pro bowl before the complete install. We can play two player with no issue. But when that’s over and we come back the next day to play a h2h game with various teams the problem pops up. Thanks for staying on this. The game looks great and it’s dissappointing that we have to keep going back to madden 19 to have fun.

This issue is definitely related to the latest update. Before the latest update installs it’s fine. After it installs player 2 has no control. I obviously try to stop it from installing but it ends up doing it automatically eventually. Is there a way I can make it not automatically install the game update?

Thanks for the updates!
There's another thing I wanted to check. I'm wondering if you might be getting stuck in an audible before the snap. There's an option to hide audibles when you're playing with two players so that your opponent wouldn't be able to see your calls.
Can you check something for me? Go to your Settings and then select Visual Settings. Look to see if Pre-Snap Menu is turned off there. If it's disabled try turning it back on and see what happens when you try snapping the ball from the player 2 side./Kent
