Player 2 can’t snap the ball! X not responding.

Madden 20 PS 4 when playing offline head to head, the second controller works fine until the actual game starts and the second player cannot snap the ball. X doesn’t work. Tried reinstalling the game...

Over a year later and this problem wasn’t resolved for Madden 21. And now I have bought Madden 22 AND THE SAME PROBLEM IS HAPPENING. It’s impossible to play head to head as player two is unable to snap the ball. EA or someone please help.

Player 2 can’t hike with X can’t play a 2 player game 

ps5 with Ps5 controllers 

really making my life difficult with my Kids
