Player stuck on IR?

Franchise mode:

I have Austin Ekeler chilling on IR even though he’s been uninjured for 4 weeks. It says Yes player can return from IR on the injury page, but when I select him it doesn’t give me the option to do so. He doesn’t even show up on my depth chart, only on my roster. I’m 2 games away from the playoffs and want to bring him back. TIA

    Apologies for the late reply on this. 


    Will it let you add him to a practice squad? If so, give that a try and see if you can remove him from IR after that. I've seen that work in some cases.

    I have the Same problem. But it doesn’t say that I can add to practice squad
