Please Help-13 year old son just got tricked into trading all players away

Hi,

My son has been playing Madden 15 (xbox 360) for a year now and has spent hundreds of dollars and hours building up his team.  He lives and breathes Madden 15.  Apparently, just a few minutes ago, someone online tricked into trading all of his good players away for * players.

He was going to trade for a good player and the guy told him he had to do all of these trades before he could get to the actual trade.

He is in tears and feels horrible.  How can we go about rectifying this?

I don't know where to start.

Please help with heart broken dad get this players back for his heart-broken son.

Thanks,

Rob

The problem is that your son accepted the trades, regardless of whether or not there were supposed to be additional steps to the trade, there's not much EA can do.  The other guy proposed individual trades, your son accepted, and the cards changed hands.  The only thing you can do is to report the other user for cheating, using the in-game reporting system.  Tell your son if he wants to make multi card trades in the future he should use a middleman.  There is a list of middlemen on the the EA Official forums who can help him out in the future.

I swear to you I am not.  I am a 45 year old father and my son is crushed.

I don't want anything from you other than to point me in the right direction.  I have filled a complaint with EA, but not sure that is enough.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Just asked my son a few more questions about it.

This guy, friended him a few day ago and then asked him to make a trade today.

This guy had several good players he was willing to trade if my son traded his good players first for crappy players first.  My son did his part but then the guy disappeared before trading his good players.  I don't have the full story yet, but that is the general idea.

My son's team overall average has gone from 92 to 84.

    Thanks again,

    Rob

  • Some * with the game tag of [Removed - Admin.] conned me out of my 90 overall Malcom Butler during a trade for his 97 overall Marshawn Lynch but granted it was for lynch and a badge for my butler and my 96 overall Bobby Wagner but as soon as I sent my butler he denied my trade for his lynch but accepted the one for the badge so does anybody have an idea on what I should do
