ps3 version of madden 15 keeps freezing
the game freezes every time i try to scout in connected franchise or try to check stats after a game in franchise. any help would be appreciated.

Here it is December 9th and it is still freezing almost every time I play. This is really getting old. I'm beginning to really dislike Madden NFL games and all other games by EA. This is ridiculous.
- I have the same problem aswel, also mine freezes after playing a game about 70% of the time, so frustrating. First time I bought a Madden game in 5 years and I couldn't believe how glitchy this game is in general. It appears that this is a well known problem and has been for some time, last time I buy a Madden game.
Look, the only mode I have played in Madden is Franchise mode. I know I'm in the minority, and I don't play online or care about collecting the Ultimate Team. I'm really, really frustrated because I actually really like most of their changes or additions in gameplay and franchise mode. I really, really do like this game. But every single time I try to exit a game in franchise mode (or even the team drills module), the PS3 freezes on the loading screen. I really can't keep resetting my PS3 over and over again. I really can't. It's December, and a lot of users are having this issue, and it's not even just on the PS3. I understand it might be difficult to solve, but I really just would like to know what EA is going to do about it, if anything. Not just "We're working on it" but at least some inkling of WHAT it might be related to.
For me, it's been present since the start of my franchise, but in Year 1 I was able to avoid it by letting the audio run out after a game and then doing the Exit Game - No Exit Game - Yes strategy. In Year 2? No luck, freeze every time. I just can't PLAY the game anymore. If I can't play franchise, there's no point for me to play it, or to even bother buying Madden again. I'm really at a loss here when it comes to this game, it really brings a new meaning to wasting your time on a video game in my book. I can let the other issues slide, this is only one issue I would pick to have resolved if I had to choose...but I go and check EA's list of priority areas, and all I see is crashing for NFL Mobile and minor issues for online Madden play. Really? Nothing at all for Offline Franchise or any gameplay issues? Nothing? Could we at least get some kind of effort to at least allow us to SAVE the games we play offline? Anything at all would be appreciated, we just want some help with this.
I totally agree. I don't want to play online. So only thing I can do is the skills training. Can't play Fran cause can't load the saved game. I AM GOING TO BEST BUY to get my $$$$$ back. Why should I have to pay for a game I can't play!!! EA huge ball drop not fixing this. BRING MY NCAA GAME BACK. Stupid law suites
- i have been having this problem as well i have been playing madden off and on over the years and this issuse is quite frankly making me want to swear off the brand all together EA for years has been screwing their customers constantly taking out features with new games when people still expected them same product them inserting them in later games as new as a marketing moneuver and now they build an incomplete game again per usuall and pass it off and screw every customer over i for one and im sure others are about to get litigious
So, this is certainly a bit late for most, but I think I've solved this obnoxious bug. The trick is to never ever ever use the select button, or "quicksave" to save your CFM. This corrupts any save file. You can use the select button outside of CFM to save profiles, playbooks, rosters, etc, but you cannot EVER use the select button inside of CFM. ALWAYS save your CFM by navigating to the last pane from the home screen: League --> Settings --> Save. Then overwrite or make a new file.
Here's my step-by-step:
1. Delete any and all CFM files that you used select "quick save" for. Sorry, but they are corrupted and will freeze. If you don't mind starting over, then delete them all.
2. Sign out of Playstation Network. You don't need to disable internet to your ps3. just sign out. NEVER ever sign back in while playing CFM. You can be online and get game updates as well as new rosters, but you cannot be signed in while playing CFM.
3. Delete Game Data Utility File.
4. Run Madden. Game Data File will reinstall.
5. Take the latest update. Mine was 1.03, I think...
6. Start your new CFM.
7. Never use select to save.
8. Never update Madden again.
That's it. I have played a dozen of games straight with no freezes. Very happy to have the game again. I hope this helps. The fact that EA never resolved this just shows you just how behind 2k sports and the show they are. Exclusivity is a bad thing; competition is good.
