PS4 Madden 18 - v1.12 will not install - Can't play game

Madden 18 is stuck... it downloads the 1.12 update, and then says "Ready to Install", I click START and nothing happens. It won't let me play the game and won't allow me to install the update. Any id...

    Thanks for your reply. I think at this stage you should delete the game and reinstall via disc or download from scratch.

    I know that is no fun but a full game reinstall is kind of a last resort.

What happens when you try to start playing in the normal way?

Try selecting the game and press the Options button and check for update.

    If I try to launch the normal way it goes to a blue screen and then back to the main menu
