PS5 can't create more save data for this game or application

Every time I play a franchise game in madden on my PS5 against a CPU i get this "can't create more save data for this game or application" but I have a bunch of free space on my system. It also only ...

    @J-Fezzy You have too many franchises that’s why it says that I deleted a bunch of franchises that I didn’t play and the message went away

@J-Fezzy  Were you able to fix this?  I'm having the same issue right now.  That other recommendation didn't work for me either.

Unfortunately I have not. It is still an issue and now it's causing me major problems when my console clearly has enough space and yet the game continues to do it.
