[PS5] can't send game invites although the person is online

Can't send a game invite although I know the different friends are online. Their names don't even populate as an option in game to select & send an online game request. Please help. [EDIT: modifie...

Do you have notifications on your profile enabled? If not, the invite may not come through.

    Yes I have notifications enabled. I can't see a full list of friends that also have the game as well. For example, let's say I have 8 friends who have the game only 4 of them will I be able to select? What about the other 4 why isn't their name even seen on the list of friends you can send a possible game invite to?

      @abc860720070 Are you able to invite them to a PlayStation party and invite them that way?

        Nope tried that already too. I can't invite them & the 2 friends couldn't invite me that way either.
