Qb dive issue?

Has anyone been able to dive with the qb in madden 18? It seems the qbs always slide regardless of the context, I used to be able to dive over the line with newton but now he gives up at the 1 yard line.

    I have a weird issue where my qb has started to dive instead of sliding. Results in a lot of fumbles. Any idea what happened anyone? Maybe i switched something?

    No I've been noticing that this week too. The QB never dove and i was fine with that, now I have to put effort into my slides.
