Quarter time and game sliders don't carry over to simulated games in franchise

Product: Madden 18
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which console generation do you have? PlayStation 4
Which mode has this happened in? Franchise Mode
Which part of the mode? Cloud
Summarize your bug Let's say you have a franchise with 7 min quarters. Well you play all games that season but when you look at final season stats for each team, you will see that the other teams stats suggest they have been playing 15 min quarters and your QB, RB, WR, etc will all have much lower numbers compared to everyone else in the league. Quarter time, sliders should be set for all teams in that season to make the playing field even. Therefore this basically makes the season statistics useless. We should have an option to 'use user settings' for games/seasons so all user teams and CPU team use the same settings and same rules. Also, if you set the QB accuracy to 0 and WR Catching to 0, if you simulate that game, those changes wont reflect. Also, if you actually load the game and go into SIM, and select the speed of 'fast' sim inside the game with the sliders loaded, this also will not use the set sliders you specified. If you load the game and go into SIM mode and select the speed of 'normal' sim, this will not use the changed sliders. However, if you load the game and go into SIM mode and select the speed of 'slow', then it will use your changed slider settings. However, its hard to slow sim each game in a season and takes forever. So basically when you sim, it wont use your settings or the amount of time you allot for a quarter either. If you select 1 min quarters and then simulate the whole season, it will have the statistics of a full 15 min quarter for each game. There should be an option to use "user settings". For example, this doesnt happen when you select injuries to be off. When you set it to off, and then simulate the whole season, no injuries occur for any team. So how do injuries carry over for settings but quarter minutes and game sliders dont? I love the intent to bring more realistic settings with the simulation mode back into the game but please fix the issues below for us people who like to coach and do football statistics. Thank you!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a few games with 7 min quarters and compare the stats to every other team in the NFL
What happens when the bug occurs? Unrealistic stats
What do you expect to see? An option to use "user settings" in simulated games or CPU played games in the season.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? staticmadden
Date/time issue occurred 09-07-2017
PS4 Crash Reporting: Please copy the text you put in the crash report here. None

Thanks!

I always wondered why this was never resolved from the previous versions of Madden. Its like every other team QB has 900 passing attempts and my QB has 120 or something with 5 min quarters. Also would be a good idea to be able to reset the NFL records so if you play with less quarters, you and others can set records.

  • I can't believe this is not implemented.. can't be that hard. I cam here looking for a solution for that. Nba Games have it for years. I just wanted to try Madden again after a long time again but this weak franchise mode kills me..

    Hi @neSium1337,

I'm now closing this thread to limit necroposting a thread last active in 2017. It's always good to check the date of the previous response to see if the conversation is up to date or it was specific to something from few years ago.

If you'd like to have this discussion today, could you create a new fresh thread?

    Thanks,
