Summarize your bug Qb spy is extremely overpowered in pass coverage - playing the Vikings I threw 2 interceptions to Eric Kendricks because of (blitz) plays with qb spy’s. Blitz and you try to take advantage of it and throw a slant or a drag and the linebacker (usually hidden in the line) picks off every pass short over the middle. Extremely frustrating bug that has been exploited in online play, and there is even a YouTube video explaining that if you aren’t putting a spy on every play, you aren’t playing defense right. This needs to be fixed.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to practice mode and choose any play on offense that has a 0-15 yard slant/drag/in route and clear all of the rest of the receivers. On defense also choose any play(easier with zone coverage), putting either a linebacker or defensive lineman on a qb spy. Clear all other zones away and run the play and attempt to throw the pass. I was playing as the eagles versus the Vikings in Connected franchise when I realized that the quarterback spy was what was causing over 50% of the interceptions i throw.
What happens when the bug occurs? Guaranteed swat but usually an interception in my experience
What do you expect to see? I expect pass defense logic to be significantly toned down for quarterback spy players to the point where spy is only used and necessary when playing against a dangerous scrambling quarterback. The best zone coverage in the game shouldn’t come from something that is supposed to be a reward for the offense having a quarterback with running ability, forcing the defense to have to sacrifice a player to make sure the quarterback can not run the ball.
