i’m having this same issue. my account that is linked to my xbox profile is very old and i no longer have access to that email and i can’t play mut. very irritating especially when i played madden 17 with my friends no longer than 2 years ago without having to sign in to my ea account.

You'll need to go through the account recovery process. To get that started, see this article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/im-locked-out-of-my-ea-account. If you can provide enough accurate information about the account, they should be able to recover it for you.

You'll need to contact a live support advisor for assistance with disconnecting your account. You can do that here. I assume you mean you want to disconnect your PSN ID/Xbox gamertag from your EA account. Keep in mind, if you do that, all of your Ultimate Team progress will be deleted. Along with your progress in all other EA games.
