Re: coach mode

That's exactly what I want to do. Call the plays and have the computer players execute the play I have called. Currently I have to call the play and if it is a pass I have to select the receiver and then initiate the throw/move the QB. I don't want that experience. If there is a way to call plays only then it's not clear how to do that in Madden 21. That's what we are asking about....How do you just set up a franchise where you only call plays and don't have to make a run or pass with the controller?

    @SteveDay1967there is an option in the game settings (in the main menu where you select your mode to play) allowing the QB to throw passes if no manual input is registered from the controller (see screenshot).

    Settings -> Game Options -> Coach Mode 'On'

    With a heavy sigh, I give up here. Thanks for the help with this but when I go to settings/game options it has every other setting except the one you pointed out. You shouldn't have to spend hours just trying to play a game. I will keep playing madden 19 and be satisfied with that. Already took the game back and will not be buying madden going forward. But seriously thanks for those that attempted to help here. I do appreciate it.

    @SteveDay1967 I've found this option in the main menu's settings (i.e. the screen where you can select the mode you want to play), but maybe it is too late now at least for you. ☹️

    @SteveDay1967 Sounds like you want to Sim your games. You can Sim your games in either mode...and you can even sim h2h games in franchise.

    Investigate the sim options more to if it works for you

    @Neo_Novalis This does not fix the run plays I call or any of the defensive plays. Always 1 player highlighted with a circle that refuses to play. Can I change the highlighted player to a less critical player pre-snap?
