Same problem. Has happened no matter what position I try and has happened every time. I'm done trying to play it till this is fixed.

Their solution to fixing this..
EA: having trouble with other game modes? Just go play ultimate team and buy some of our Halloween packs. It’s much more fun over there anyway..
SAD the industry is becoming obsessed with a “don’t care, you see our bank account” attitude.
