Woke up this morning and checked my league-

The league had reverted back to Divisional week, and the tiles returned to the “Things to Do” tab.

I clicked Force Advance, and my game bugged out. The screen is still moving and menu music playing, however I cannot move the cursor at all.

A “Please Wait” notice showed up in the bottom right of my screen when I clicked “Force Advance” but it went away after a few seconds, while my screen never entered into the “Advancing League” screen.

I checked my app, and again it says “League is Currently Advancing” so no luck there.

Please advise.

I know some of you mentioned the details we've been asking and it looks like we'll also need the league name you're in and if it's a Cloud or Offline Franchise so the team can take a look on how that league is set up to see if there are some common denominators among all the leagues being affected by this.

These are all happening in the conference round @EA_Blueberry 

@EA_BlueberryIt's an issue with the new stories that got added to the game. Once those got added, any franchise that tries to advance past the conference round gets stuck in the simming week screen. Can you guys just revert the patch until a fix is found? That way we can play franchise mode again.

Additionally, if your team does not make the playoffs. You can sim past the point everyone is getting stuck on. It's only when you make the playoffs and try and sim past that point does it lock up.

Damn EA punishing people for making good teams 

The fix would be as simple as reverting the new playoff scenarios. Work on a fix while they are reverted so at least we can play the game we payed for then release the fixed version.

@The_Schmittens talked to a dev today that said he passed it along as a priority item.

Had this issue come up this evening after advancing to the conference week. The app appears to be stuck and we can't do anything on the game as it has no option to advance. It appears to be similar to other issues mentioned. Our site runs several leagues and this one is the first to hit this part of the season so could occur to several of our leagues across Xbox and PS4 perhaps. Would appreciate any support you could provide.

Our site is one of the largest Madden sites in Europe and we run several CFMs unfortunately this league has hit the Post season first, so there is perhaps a risk that all our leagues will be impacted the same way when we advance? Thank you everyone for posting the information we requested - we've been passing those along to the team and it's still being investigated. I know a lot of you might only play Franchise and we know it's an extremely important mode to the Madden community, so I can understand how it can be difficult to be patient. Please continue to do so and we'll update this thread as soon as we hear more developments around this. We've got eyes on it and we'll do our best to keep you all informed on this as much as possible.

Advancing the week through the companion app has helped some players out, but not all. Want to make sure I mention this as a potential workaround while it's being looked into in case others might have missed it in the post.

@EA_Blueberry That workaround was for a different glitch I believe. The one involving the Conference Round has the app set to "loading" while it says the league is advancing.

Just heard from a reliable source: do not expect to see a fix in this upcoming patch. Its still being tested and the patch has already been submitted for approval. Don't get your hopes up. Our league will be restarting asap and all members have the option to edit their teams to what they were when the glitch wiped the league out. Well then advance to divisional round, have the users of the playoff teams leave the league, advance to conference round, bring them back in the league to play and surpass the glitch. Will fill everyone in if that doesnt work.

SUPER disappointing that a full game purchase results in such a broken game. The community is smart enough to find our own work arounds, but this is pathetic @EA_Blueberry .I know its not ur fault, but for a game that is so improved on the field this year; off the field feels like a tornado passed through it. 

@EA_Blueberry So this morning looking at our league it appeared, to be back to its previous state and back in the divisional round. We tried to advance again but were faced with exactly the same issue as we had before. 

I understand there was server maintenance this morning which perhaps caused the league to go backwards, so guessing that perhaps our league file on the server is perhaps corrupted.

@EA_Blueberry Looks like the league went back to the divisional week again. This time tried through the companion app same issue unfortunately, the app is stuck advising the league is advancing.

@BTG1986 we got the same thing but this time removed all remaining playoff contenders to see if the CPU would fix it. No luck.
