Hmmm, gotcha. I've seen some cases in the past where issues like this were coming up with slow simming, so I just wanted to make sure. If possible, can you try switching to a different sim setting to see if that makes any difference at all?

  • How can I do that, can I just do it from the general settings? Because I can’t access the franchise at all to change it in there.

    @NickAwesome82 Have you tried just playing out a week and seeing if it resolves itself after? You say your sim starts again if you open franchise, but then said you can't access franchise at all.. are you telling it to sim again or does it automatically begin sim before you click anything?
  • It automatically begins the sim after I open the franchise. I can’t click anything or do anything in the franchise. It instantly starts sim-ing and as I explained I can’t cancel the sim or do anything else.

    Do you have Madden NFL 21 installed on an external hard drive, or is it installed on the drive that's built into your Xbox?

    Got it, thanks! I've seen some cases where having the game installed on an external drive can cause some weird effects, so I was curious if that might have been related to this situation as well. 

    What happens if you try removing and reattaching your Gamertag to your Xbox? Does that make any difference at all? For more information on how to remove it and re-add it check out the Xbox Support website
