Summarize your bug When playing in my online Player Only league the play clock will freeze and the players just stand on the line on scrimmage. The game is not frozen as the players are still animating and the commentary is still running but it only happens when the computer is on the field for kicks. The clock doesn't move (sometimes starts anywhere from 40 to 30 seconds) so the CPU never snaps the ball. Of course I ask "Why would the CPU need to even see the clock to snap it" but...oh well. Both players tried calling time outs to reset the clock but that didn't work either. Anyway, is anyone working on this? Links can be found here. These are repeated attempts by players in my league. How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You will have to play an online Player Only game. The glitch occurs when the CPU is in control of both sides of the ball so the two competitors must both be on offense and NOT on the kicking or receiving team. Being an RB will put you on the defense and being a TE will put you on offense. Best to be a WR or someone not responsible for returning kicks. This does happen on punt or FG/XP situations.
What happens when the bug occurs? As you can see in the above video links, the play clock does not count down so the CPU will not snap the ball. We have tried calling time outs to possibly reset the AI but that doesn't work. So the two teams just stay lined up. The commentary still runs and the players animate so it is not a freeze, the CPU just doesn't know what to do.
What do you expect to see? I expect the clock to count down as normal and the game continue
