You can play 2 play in Play Now under Exhibition and within a Franchise if you assign 2+ human controlled teams.
To play in an online franchise (CFM) each player will need their own Gamertag to register. If you end up playing each other though, each user will need PS4. For offline franchises you can play from the same console.
In Madden Ultimate Team and Superstar KO there are MUT Squads in which you can play with with 2 other friends, however everyone will need their own console to play.
