- @EA_Blueberry Have not been able to find a solution yet! Really just want to play the game so it’s still pretty frustrating. Any other solutions I can try?
- EA_Blueberry@bradysbombers12 Are you using a custom PSN profile picture and do you use an external hard drive? (or anything else plugged into your console?)
- @EA_Blueberry I don’t use either. I use a default profile picture for my PSN and don’t have an external hard drive plugged into my system. Nothing is plugged into my system besides the power cable, HDMI cable and the USB cable used to charge my controller.
- EA_Blueberry@bradysbombers12 Do you own the full game or are you trying to play the EA Play First Trial version?
- @EA_Blueberry I own the full game to my knowledge! I paid $30 for it and downloaded it from the Play Station Store.

Are you able to share the game to another PSN ID and load it up on that account to see if it's account related or try switching to WiFi if you're on a wired connection or vise-versa?
- @EA_Blueberry Yeah nothing has worked so far for me. What else can I try?
- EA_Blueberry@bradysbombers12 You mentioned you paid $30 for it. Can you confirm you've purchased the full game or did you purchased a membership of EA Play?
- @EA_Blueberry Yeah I bought it when the game was 50% off for both PS4 & PS5. It says it is the full game.

I want to let you know there were a decent amount of players also experiencing this in the past like what @Neo_Novalis mentioned earlier. These are some workaround fixes mentioned in that thread:
Yo I had this issue for the last two weeks as well but managed to fix it now. You need to connect your ps4 to a different network (I used my mobile phone as a hotspot). Then start the game once and you should get a license agreement or something like that at the spot where the game used to freeze. Once you accepted that you can go back to your usual network and the game should work fine.
All you have to do is go into the game and load up the grey screen then push the home button and go to settings and go to network and where it says connect to internet turn it off and go back to the gamei did the disconnect and reconnect to wifi then got into the game and continuously tried to sign into ea and if it dimmed i just re disconnected my wifi and tried again it ended up working
Do you have REST MODE enabled on your PS4 Power Settings and if so, can you try disabling that and then power cycle the console to see if that has any effect to this?
