That happened to me to. I had to restart the whole game by going to manage game, clicking on my username, and then deleting saved data everywhere. Your ultimate team and draft champions will be fine though. restart your console and then it should be fixed.

Hi I think I can help. You do not need to uninstall the game itself but you must make sure you uninstall madden NFL players likeness update. I would also personally go to all settings, then storage and clear local saved game too.Now this is the important part, when the game restarts, go back to the game, press start and select manage game. On the far right you will see your SAVED DATA with your screen name below, press start and select delete saved data. Go back and start up madden.
What happens is madden will go through the process of re-downloading madden likeness after loading roster. This should work..worked for me.
