There's a couple things we can try. First, try updating your Windows 10 build to the latest version. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates.
It's important all devices that are plugged into the PC are removed aside from the keyboard, mouse, and your 1 controller you plan to use. Make sure that all devices have the latest drivers. Here is how to do that.
Right-click on Madden 20 in Origin and select Repair. If you never uninstall Origin and re-downloaded the latest version when this was happening in Madden 19, I would try that too so you have some fresh files.
