Is this “fix” for all consoles/PC or? If it’s for PC I will reinstall as soon as I get home.

It should be for all platforms. There is always a possibility of this being network related too.
What routers do you use and if you don't mind me asking, what ISP do you use?
@kelllller went quite in-depth with networking, but perhaps there is a common factor at play here.Comcast and I use the provided XFi Router.
My first experience of Madden 20 is starting a franchise mode as the Dolphins.
I'm playing All-Madden with modified sliders. However, the game is pretty much unplayable as it is and I'm not sure if it's because the roster is so bad or the AI is all wrong.
PS EA - Why can't I download draft classes? You've made no attempt to improve franchise mode in years and now you can't even get old features right.
