@Venomisfip I hope so for a bigger pc playerbase, though steam will help this year anyway i expect.

Madden 21 doesn't support cross-play.

does no crossplay also means that its not possible as a xbox series x user to play against/with xbox one users?

- EA_Blueberry@satfreaktom264 Cross-play isn't supported for next gen consoles as far as we are aware. So PS4 players won't be able to play against PS5 players (Or Xbox One & Xbox Series X)
so the not coming crossplay for different xbox versions is a problem by microsoft or by @EA ? @EA could (maybe) do it, but the microsoft series x hardware/software doesnt support it (at the moment). do i understand this correct?
Cross-play on madden would shake the sports side of the gaming industry, plus with the new "The Yard" game mode that would be crazy, and I don't even play madden like that and just thinking about it hypes me up.
Will ps4 owner ls be able to play ps5 owners in franchise mode? Im a long time franchise player that keeps 32 membere all year for very competitive play. Some will have a ps5 and some will not on launch, so i wanted to know how that works for my community.......? We do a full 53 man fantasy draft to kick off our franchise btw...... and a redraft would suck if there wasnt the crossplay support for ps4 and ps5......

yeah * sucks. if everyone for one year didnt buy madden i bet they would make that * cross plat lol
Yeah man.. EA is really dropping the ball on so many accounts.... in due time Madden will go the way of NBA live if they dont straighten this mess up..... And the contract with NFL wont save them if this type stuff continues.......

EA Games should really consider this and start putting greed aside. The nickel and diming micro transactions would only increase due to players having fan bases on multiple consoles. Turning on the option for each user to be able to have this on or off as other AAA games do. This is no longer a console issue it's in the hands of the developer. Remove your hand from the cookie jar and let it fill back up EA. does not mean you don't have to buy the game for each console. Just allow the fans of the games to play together. Im not buying madden again until it's cross play not that it matters.
I can tell you now I just got the ps5 madden update and as of right iw I can't play my ps4 friends who has madden 21
I have the ps5 madden version and cannot play ps4 madden 21 players

@RonaldDoherty60 Sure can, that's the whole point of CFM. One of you will have to be Roger Goodell (in charge) for the CFL. (ps - Don't forget M22 will be here in only 3 months.)
