Re: Madden 21 franchise mode game crashes after trying to end game

EA, any updates on this at all? @EA_Kent?

This is a game breaking bug for all people trying to do any sort of coach mode in franchise mode. I've seen many threads on reddit too with people experiencing the same issue. Unbelievable that this hasn't even been addressed yet. Can we please get some sort of update on this?????

    Yes, some type of acknowledgement and update on when it will be fixed would be awesome...

    So I had mine fixed by going offline, and when I went back online POOF! Same thing, This is crap. We should all return this game and get our money back

    This is like ordering food at a restaurant, paying for it, and then having them bring out an empty plate. This is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed now! Or at the very least, give us a complete refund since we were sold a defective product. I've never in my 20+ years of gaming seen such a broken game with so many bugs and a full game mode completely unplayable!

    It’s crazy to see madden get such terrible customer ratings and EA does nothing about it. * poor company and leadership..

    Date/time issue occurred several days, every time you try, at any hour of the day.
    What type of issue do you have? App Crash
    Which mode has this happened in? Franchise Mode
    Which part of the mode? Cloud
    What is your Franchise League Name? Dynasty manager
    Summarize your bug When you slow sim a game in franchise, and try to leave the game when finished, it crashes every time. This is for offline and cloud
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a game in franchise mode, slow sim until the end. Then try to leave when the game is finished
    What happens when the bug occurs? When you quit the finished game. It crashes at the loading screen every time. You get error (CE-34878-0)
    What do you expect to see? Game not crashing and saving the results and progress.
    PS4 Crash Reporting: Please copy the text you put in the crash report here. When you slow sim a game in franchise, and try to leave the game when finished, it crashes every time. This is for offline and cloud
    What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card? Whatever the Ps4 has.
    Enter RAM memory size in GB Whatever the ps4 has.

    Please, any word on this?

    For many customers this is a huge part of the game, it is a really huge downgrade if it can not be fix.

  • @EA_Kent It’s ridiculous that you guys all have the time to put Kaepernick in the game, and add all this new * for mut but when it comes to fixing the game you guys can’t do it. Like is it money driven because you guys make so much off of mut? Just a concerned patron who spent money on a game that doesn’t work whatsoever. Honestly, EA rushed to release this * downgraded version of madden 20 so they could all keep getting a paycheck from everyone wasting their money on ultimate team. If something doesn’t work right than why release it? Send that to your stupid team upstairs and tell them to fix the damn game in the next patch. People want there money back, or at least a game that works and ea isn’t accommodating either issue. I know for a fact I won’t support madden anymore and I’ll just switch to 2k when they decide to release a football game.

    Well after the 1.07 patch franchise is still jacked up. Ant install weekly game plan. Every time I try the game gives the helicopter view around the practice field. These people have no idea how to fix this game. Let’s add more stuff to the yard & mutt. Well teabag all the peeps the love franchise. It’s like we’re in the woods bugs everywhere & no way to get rid of em. Now I get to restart my franchise mode again since the error code crap wasn’t enough.......smh you people should be ashamed of the dumpster fire. Oh & I expect no reply because y’all don’t know how to fix it anyway.

  • I’m assuming EA will have absolutely no issues authorising the return of Madden 21 to outlets from which they were purchased ??? 

    I’m am not paying 55.00 GBP and 3 weeks later still not able to play it!!

    Hey folks. 

    I can definitely understand the frustration, but please keep in mind that we here on Answers HQ are not game developers. Our job is to help manage these boards. We don't work on the games directly, but we do work alongside the Madden team in many ways. This includes reporting bugs and issues as well as forwarding up feedback. 

    I'm sorry that I don't have more information that I can share right now, but the Madden team is investigating this issue based on the reports we've sent up to them. I don't have a time frame for how long this investigation may take, but when I do have more details to share I will let everyone know.

    You have to understand this is the only mean we have trying to get the product we bought, which it has not been given to us yet.

    69,99€ and it is not working properly.

    It is not a problem about if we like it or not, it is not working, we can not use it completely, and it is more than frustration not being able to use something we have already paid for.

    Me, personally, I only use the Franchise Mode...and it is not working...we can not use it...

    I have been buying Madden NFL since its 2001 version, and this is the first time I regret the purchase.
    It is the worst versión at the game release as I can remember.

    I hope they can change my mind.

    @EA_Kent Appreciate you at least acknowledging the issue. Hopefully, this can be fixed very soon because a large portion of the player base can't even play the game that they paid $60 or so for! This really should have been made top priority as soon as it was discovered and fixed with the first couple of patches. This isn't like a visual glitch or small bug, this is an entire mode that cannot be played. Please do what you can to make sure that the developers are aware that this issue should be addressed first and foremost, especially before any further (promised) changes are made to the franchise mode.

    Guess what’s back? You guessed it right the freaking error code!!!!! Good grief can you guys not fix this crap???

  • With all due respect Kent the game isn't playable. It crashes at the end of a game and makes you start over. I understand Covid made things difficult but no answers or time frame is very unacceptable. I appreciate you saying all you do is manage the boards but a developer needs to reach out and respond to at least acknowledge us customers.
