Look up xInput, it will clone your controllers to work like Xbox controllers.

This should solve all your issues, you'll just have to get used to the xbox layouts on the screen.

    I found other 3rd party software that helped map the buttons correctly but I'm still not able to play due to the incorrect icons. Both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers have an "X" button so when I see a an "X" icon over a receiver I always hit the wrong button.

    I'll be calling shortly to get my refund because this is unacceptable.

    Any solutions to this problem for normal pc joysticks? I'm even using x360ce and it is not working, but on Fifa 18, or any of them, it works just fine.

    Xinput doesn't work, I've tried out 2 different controllers now and the game finds them but the mapping is really messed up... Right trigger=A, Left Trigger=B, Up and Down is reversed and so on.

    Please fix this.
