Same problem on Xbox Series X. Seven years into my franchise and the game crashed while try to exit after the end of a game. Now both my manual and auto saves won’t load. Just like everyone else, they try to and take me back to the screen where your save area. EA has said nothing about this. What a horrendous company.
Same thing here. Just started within last 24hrs.
I have been trying to get ONE persons attention from EA Help on Twitter, Facebook, email, and here the past 3 days. Of course nothing. It’s as if they don’t even care.
I understand that bugs are always going to a thing and will always be worked on, but the fact that offline franchise mode (which is why most people buy the game) isn’t even working is an embarrassment.

Summarize your bug Offline franchise won't start. When clicking on a saved game it doesn't load the franchise so I can't access my career anymore.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start an offline franchise, play some 3 or 4 years, manually save, go back to home screen, load your saved game and eventually you can't access it anymore.
What happens when the bug occurs? It starts the loading process but immediately fails and goes back to the screen with your saved games
What do you expect to see? I expect my save to load so I can continue playing my franchise where I invested many hours of my time.

Yeah, I read all 10 pages after this happened to me yesterday and I just wanted to add my experience in. Hoping to get some more attention to the problem. I'm a long time Madden player. I've played Madden since Madden 95 on the SNES, back then you could actually run and jump on the power pad to get your created players stats.
Amen Midland! 2K never has these game bugs EVERY SINGLE YEAR! EA has bugs in almost all of their games!
I used to buy Madden EVERY YEAR! Then after getting tired of the game BARELY getting upgraded from year to year, I went from Madden 12 to 15, then I didn't buy until Madden 19, and now 22.
At this point, if it takes MONTHS to fix this, I will not buy another Madden. I will get my sports fix from NBA 2K, and all of my remaining game play time will be spent on other types of games, from video game companies that care about game quality more than just making a quick buck. Rockstar takes years to release their games and when they release they are considered some of the greatest games ever made.
EA releases games like Fallen Order and they are underwhelming.
EA games are becoming a waste of time. Eventually the gamers will catch on and stop feeding the beast that constantly disappoints and EA will have to make the mad scramble to try and fix their issues once the investors lose out.
The consumer is forgotten by EA, they will only consider quality when it affects the stockholders pockets!
First the Franchise Mode stops loading, so I decide to play Face of the Franchise Mode and it crashes my Series X. Great game bros! Maybe EA will one day become a big video game company with the resources to get it right. 🤔 I don't know, are you guys thinking by 2030? Maybe by then EA will put an equal amount of money into new game development as they do in marketing? Is there any game mode other than MUT that works?
Twice now that Face of the Franchise mode has crashed and made me completely replay games. Now I'm doing the Hawaii charity game a second time after having to play the National Championship game twice. Fun......
So tired of this glitch. Happened in 22 and 23 for me. Now I have to create back up saves for all my franchise and constantly switch the saves. I have not bought the game at full price since madden 20. I will only buy the game when it’s for sale and for $30 or less. Just got 24 and am preparing for the same glitch to happen
