@EA_Blueberry I did this earlier, it did not help. What's the ETA on the fix? Very frustrating when others are playing. It recognizes my EA discount, but not the trial.

Do you have the game installed to an external hard drive or one attached to the Xbox?
- @EA_Blueberry I am on round 4 of reinstalling the game. I have had it downloaded to external and internal and it does not seem to make a difference. I have tried to download through the EA access app and it says " repair and retry " regardless of if I have the game already downloaded or not. I can download it through the store via my Xbox, as well as remote download from my laptop through Xbox.com. I have yet to see a " try for free " or any sort of free trial button along my endeavors. Any suggestions? I do have the game pre ordered.
- @EA_Blueberry Attached to Xbox. I have several friends this is happening to as well. But I know at least 2-3 people that had no issues.
I talked to someone on EA live chat and he/she said that they were well aware of the issue and were working on fixing it.

On my 10th download of the day, is there an ETA on this fix
- @cowanater Don't worry about downloading. I'm sure when the fix it, it will just allow you to play because you have EA access.

Hey Madden fans,
EA Access for PS4/XBox One is scheduled for July 25th. Our teams are doing some testing with EA Access today where some players may be able to get access to the game early but again this is a test. Official date is July 25th.
So in other words because we're awesome and shelled out money prior to launch we need to wait 1 more day than everyone who didn't preorder....smh., fantastic.

For those that pre-ordered the game they will not have access until the 30th, unless they have an Origin Access or EA Access membership.
When can I start playing?
- On July 25
- You’ll have access to the full game if you have Premier for Origin Access.
- Get up to ten hours of game time with the Play First Trial if you have a Basic membership for Origin Access on PC or are a member of EA Access for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
- On July 30
- You’ll have access to the full game if you’ve pre-ordered Ultimate Superstar or Superstar edition.
- On August 2
- Everyone who’s bought the game gets in with worldwide launch.
- On July 25
Been an ea access member for years and I pre-ordered game. All my friends that didn't preorder and have access or even just signed up for access are able to play... Pretty bummed out about it, but as long as it actually works tomorrow I'll survive.
I'm just a worried because with Madden 18 I didn't even get access to my trial at all and then with 19 my hours magically dwindled down without playing, so with this happening now I'm not very optimistic that I'll be playing tomorrow.
- You know I thought the most important part of my day was the madden trial not working then ea comes out the biggest * cop out excuse of why it’s not working and call it “testing.” I know a lot of people in the gaming community and even at EA this testing is false and just a cop out to the issue. I am an avid madden fan and ea access trial has been known to drop early so this isn’t something new this year. I get it sometimes there are issues but for you guys to use the excuse of “testing” is ridiculous. I pre ordered just this year so it would be installed and ready to go soon as the ea access I pay for releases it and now am unable too and you guys don’t know how to fix the issue. I just hope it works tomorrow but it would be much better if y’all figured it out and got it working today.
@EA_Blueberry I get it comes out 25th but I see a ton of people playing and all of those people didn't pre-order the game. Basically shafting those who were committed months/weeks ago. Just open the trial for everyone now vs midnight tonight.

I got it to work by cancelling my preorder in the microsoft store site, reload the page and start the trial. Make sure you click on the madden 20 thats included in the bundle to make it show up.
We should get something like an elite or mut or something
- @LPNR21 I was just about to try it. It worked on my other Xbox in the house. So that proves this theory correct. Funny how EA trying to say it oxmes out on 25th
They literally did the same thing to us last year 😂 when you have it preordered it replaces the trial option with play

It's quite funny how its supposedly it's not live yet it's listed under "trials" on the ea access site.
So... I got it to work now. Here's what you do... Go to eat access click on the install... Get the error and then click on the repair retry' which brings you to Xbox store. There will be 3 dots to the side of play. Click on that and there is now a "free trial" button.

Refunds? All this money to play Madden and nhl early and this? I also have reinstalled and hard reset console many times. What is going on over there?
