Re: Problem pre snap

If I understand your question, you may have activated one of the many toggles for pre-snap adjustments.  While these toggles are active, you won't be able to snap the ball because the system is expecting different input.  Here's a few things you can do:

  1. Activate Pre-Snap Menus - In the Settings, there is a menu for Visual Output (I think) where you can turn the pre-snap menus off or on.  Turn them ON.  Once you do, you will be shown the potential inputs that the system will accept while in each pre-snap mode.  In those instances when you activated it in error, the menu will serve as a warning that you need to cancel it to snap the ball.
  2. Use the L2/Left Trigger to Cancel all adjustments - If you want to reset back to the original play without any adjustments, L2/Left Trigger is the universal button to get back to the mode where a snap is possible.
  3. Use R3 to Cancel a single adjustment - If you want to back out of a single adjustment while keeping all the previous changes to a play, press down on the right stick until it clicks to get back to the mode where a snap is possible.

Now that those are out of the way, it's necessary to remind you that the R2/Right Trigger button activates the X-Factor view and the Play Art View buttons is now L2/Left Trigger...  Why the developers would move one of the most frequently used features to a new location is beyond me (ahem, Marketing), but it's relocation forced the move of three other oft used functions as well (Global Defense Adjustment from L2/Left Trigger to L1/LB, D-Line Adjustments from L1/LB to Left on D-Pad, and Linebacker Adjustments from R1/RB to Right on the D-Pad).  All for a feature that I have yet to use in 50+ games.  Go figure...

So...  If you're looking for play art, use L2/Left Trigger.  Or use R3 to cancel any of the adjustment menus without resetting your play.

Hope this helps,

Later
