Hi @Dagrind954.
There are some other steps we can try that may help out with this. Have you tried using a different DNS on your PS4 to see if that makes a difference for you? Sometimes using a different DNS can help out with connection issues like this.
To change the DNS settings on your PS4 follow the steps below:
- Open up the Settings on your PS4, then go to Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either WiFi or LAN cable depending on what you're using.
- Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual)
- Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different open DNS that you would rather use instead you can enter the primary and secondary addresses in the same place.
- Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection
Let me know if that helps at all with the lag issues you've been seeing. Thanks!
