@H8_hate My first guess is that this would be a hardware problem with your controller and that specific button. Is it an old controller? Since pump fakes happen when you double tap a button, an extra button press is being registered for some reason.
A few things to try:
Does this happen when you do a hard, exaggerated hold of the button?
Does this happen when you unplug your controller and use your keyboard?
You might not have access to one, but does this happen when using other controllers?
If it were me I'd take the case of the controller off, clean off any dust/blow on it, and shoot some compressed air in there. Best of luck solving this.
