Re: Solo Battles rewards in Madden NFL 23 + "Unranked" screen

when i have a bad service at a restaurant I'm not the type to complain. i just don't TIP as well; if not at all and if the food was bad or sub par i don't scream or throw a tantrum and cause a scene. i just no longer frequent that establishment. but in the case of madden 23 i am unfortunately fully vested. pre ordered ULTIMATE edition just like many others. but for all the poor service with the CP competitive field pass I'm not being properly compensated. true i am not a Great Competitive Player MCS isn't my thing i know my place in the Madden world I'm only a novice online player but i am a casual, not completely no money spent, but i am not sinking no more than $100 into a game i paid nearly a $100 for!!! I have experienced Lost of CP, Lost of rewards, being locked out of CP stat objectives, CP stat objectives not updating. i missed out on the Trevor Lawrence last week do to Madden/EA/Dev incompetency and it looks like I'm going to miss out on the Madden 89 and the Tyriq Wooden due to the same Madden/EA/Dev incompetency. I know Madden/EA/Dev are being pleasured because choice madden community competitive members figured out a loop hold to double dip on points for the CP competitive field pass but that doesn't mean Madden/EA/Dev should punish everyone/casual/non-competitive players by locking CP gains stats etc.! But my most infuriating transgression by Madden/EA/Dev incompetency is you guys then reward choice people NOT all Make Rights, weather this was an accident or not?! How you gonna give some people all the rewards in the CP competitive field pass irreqardless if they had completed the CP level requirement or not. You guys should have just done that for the WHOLE madden community not just a few. Anytime changes/Updates happen its understandable that mistakes will be made nothing is perfect BUT the common denominator in this situation IS Madden/EA/Dev incompetency so you guys should be giving Make Rights to the ENTIRE COMMUNITY ,not just to a select few.... but just like every other post that i have read on this forum about this Madden/EA/Dev incompetency issue, this post will probly go unread , unheard, unanswered and un-rectified as well. Thank you for your time and thank you to whomever else takes the time to read and understand!!!

@EA_Kent, I'm OK with the Solo Battles change from Weekly Rewards to Daily Rewards based on XP & CP. It's different, but change isn't the end of the world.

But 4 quarters of Solos for 800 XP, & Zero CP just isn't worth it.

So tell me simply, @EA_Kent, what's the point to playing Solos in M23 if all we get is 800 XP?

For the last week and a half, solo battle opponents aren’t updating for me but I still see others on the leaderboard. Is there something up w my account or settings?  

My solo battles are up and running again, tonight.
I just noticed, it’s almost midnight here on the East Coast. 
I don’t know if they’ve announced anything on Twitter, yet.

Guys I think I have the sollution for the solo battles. Don't play the booster untill it's the last battle to play at the end of the week.
I think there is a bug in that one so you won't be able to play any solo battle anymore untill the weekly battles are done.
For me this works.

I am level 60 now and need 50.000 xp to become level 61. But there is no way I can reach that.
I completed all the missions and I only will be able to get the 25.000 in CP. Besides h2h and other online games wich I don't play coz I can't win.
So I miss out on that one, all because of the solo battles.

Gridiron guardians, I am almost get to the last level to get my 88 hero. But as you guessed, I run out of missions and I am about 5000 XP short to that one.
Again all because of the solo battles I couldn't accomplish.

This XP system with the fieldpasses trully suck big time.  EA? make it more accesisble for player that can't compete with online gamers.
Some of these guys have so much time to play all day, but there is still people that have to go out and work for their living.

I said this before but if some things don't change this will be my last madden... too bad...

@Moopert- I feel you, although my handicap is just incompetency.

I do suffer through some H2Hs when I really need the CP, to get Dave Casper, for instance.
But I really don't enjoy it much.

Like @thepopularstranger says Madden 23 have just as many offline players as they do comp players. obtaining the 200 cp should be just as achievable with out having to play H2H!!

Every time that they break Solo Battles again, they seem to reopen this same thread.  The original thread is on a completely separate topic from almost two months ago.  Yes, it was about Solo Battles.

That is where the similarity ends.  No wonder problems keep going unaddressed, and acknowledged but not fixed.  This is a new problem, which is a combination of the Field Pass being broken, and Solo Battles disappearing or having their progress go unrecorded after wins.

Moderators are focused on burying the problems, and do not even engage to communicate about solutions or timelines, outside of the occasional cutting and pasting of a canned response.  Today’s stream seems likely to be. a repeat of the same, a sales pitch for the content we can buy, with no acknowledgement of the ongoing problems and no communication about any plan to get the game working.

These problems do not just make this the worst Madden game I have ever played, they make it the glitchiest and most broken Game I have ever bought and played.

@Moopert I mentioned that because my posts on the topic were recategorized to make them disappear. Every time moderators see a headline they do not like, they bury it in another thread.

reposted from the SECOND thread about Solo Battles / Field Pass (this is ongoing for three weeks)... They're going to cost us the Malik Hooker 90 OVR reward this time around!!!!! I'm 7 cp short of getting this card, but only have 2 x 4 cp left in two areas -- the 30 and 35 win categories, and if they don't fix this in a timely manner (yeh, right, they left Solo Battles languish unfixed for nearly 2 weeks), away goes ANOTHER high OVR reward in Competitive, already lost the Compton last go round during the first two weeks of Solo / Field Pass bugs.................

Was going to post a NEW Bug Report, maybe the greasy wheel gets the oil, but they've disabled one "required" field in the bug report process so now you can't even post a bug report. Kind of the HTML equivalent of taking the phone off the hook because you don't want to answer all the countless calls about something you obviously know is messed up and either ⚽ unable to fix it or 🏈 don't care enough to even try and fix it...

Got a (few and far between) Forced Fumble in Solo Battles with Devin White Monster, had 2/5 already, and guess what? didn't get credit for it.

But the most unforgivable thing about this mess?!?!?

EA is going to screw me / everyone out of another high OVR player because they can't keep their Competitive Field Pass working -- I'm currently 7 CP short of getting the Malik Hooker 90 OVR card and yesterday afternoon, the Competitive Field Pass section quit updating Wins (AGAIN). I only have two areas left open, both 8 point objectives (30 wins, 35 wins on regular SP difficulty). I played a game just now and realized if I don't get 8 more SB wins this week, wave bye bye to 90 Malik Hooker (after losing the Compton last go round -- fool me once, shame on you, fool me again forget about me ever buying another Madden release, this is the worst I've seen QA and bug fixes and I'm a Johnny come lately, only buying Madden for X-Box since 2020, but loyally and avidly buying it every year and ashamed to admit even buying some RL cash points to finish a few objectives but that was THEN, never again).

Don't know why i'm going on a soap box here, it's so painfully obvious that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE FROM EA READS THESE BUG REPORTS OR FORUMS AND THE MODERATORS ARE UNICORNS (mythic creatures you talk about but never see).

This is unforgivable. FIX THIS MESS, EA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you scr*w me out of another high end reward because either your dev team is too incompetent to fix this mess, or (worse yet) your corporate overlords are so uncaring about your customers, why bother even going through the motions of trying to play an UNPLAYABLE game?!?!
