Seeing that all family/friends purchased the M23's base version for PS5, you should see each other. I wonder if your PS5 account has a setting that restricts visibility.

As a test, did you try to set up a new account for PS5 and EA Madden? If not, I suggest testing one account at a time; PS5 first. Start with a test PS5 account and add a couple of friends. The test PS5 account must have the right to use M23. Use your present EA account when testing M23. If it works, then your original PS5 account has the problem.

If the first test does not work, create another EA account and test both accounts (test accounts) together. If that works, then it's an EA issue with the older account.

FYI: I've added an EA link about Madden's Dual Entitlement provision although your issue sounds different.

    @sirdab How about this. Seeing as everybody here I’m guessing has looked EVERYWHERE and hasn’t seen a single fix or anything for this how about you give us an update on a patch for this or more helpful suggestions? As both of my friends have both editions now and I can’t see either of them to invite yet I can’t invite someone who’s not had a madden game since like madden 20 or 19.

    @lichy_lll_wwe I don't work with either EA or Microsoft. Just a gamer like the majority of us. There are no patches as Madden's licensing requires us to license-match with our partners.

    I assume if you are not in Madden, you can still see your friends? But as soon as you select Madden they are not listed. That was my situation with some but not all friends. Some friends would have a new console, Madden installed and yet we had no visibility of the other.

    Then I have friends who still use legacy Xbox, have also purchased Madden, and are unable to see me as a friend in Madden.
