Always changes I’d like to see from year to year. I’ve been playing the franchise mode ever year since it was out into the game! I’ve now got 9 other players that do this with me online. I’m happy about that. What I’m looking for are simple little things that would make it more realistic.
- Give the commissioner the option to force punting on 4th downs. Expect 4th and 1 or 2 across the 50 yard line or in the 4th quarter if you’re losing. Something more real than going for it on every 4th down play.
- I would love to see compensatory picks added. I don’t like letting players in the mid 70s or 80s leave as free agents, but I also don’t plan on resigning them so I trade them away. I’d be more willing to let them walk if I knew I could get a draft pick back.
- The story lines in madden 25 were pretty bad, and usually the game tells you you’re wrong even if you were right. Little things like that drove me crazy. Don’t put something in the game but be lazy about it so that it doesn’t work!
- Let the computer teams react better to user players running the same two plays over and over again. Make people become better players.
- Stop having defenders fall for play action passes when you have a big lead in the 4th. No one is running the ball then.
- Put the career ending injuries back in the game. Even if it’s a small percentage. It was fun to see it once in awhile.
- id love to see more assistant coaches like positional coaches. Hiring and firing of them. Building them up to become coordinators and such.
