Re: There are 10 players on offense.

@bkvb2012 I've seen this bug too a while ago but cannot remember the play or formation.

my first guess was that this might happen if the assigned WR for a position in this formation is somehow mixed up between WR1/WR2/WR3 etc. and SLWR1/SLWR2. in other words, if one player is assigned both to e.g. WR1 and SLWR1. maybe replacing the SLWR1 with another player might solve the issue for a specific formation? but I have to say, that is only a shot into the dark...

I'd guess it would be very helpful for the dev team, if you could take some notes if this bug occurs (if feasible) and provide it here. I think it might be good to know: 1) which offensive formation, 2) which play, 3) which players are assigned to WR1-WR5, TE1-TE3, HB1-HB3 and SLWR1-2. the last point might be easily answered by a screenshot of your lineup.

thank you! (sidenote: I'm just a player like you, but maybe we can support the dev team to solve this out...)

@Neo_Novalis Honestly, it was a shotgun with 3 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE and I called Double Cross. But it also just happened in four wide with my WR2 being off the screen and nowhere to be found... so I'm not sure if it's a subbing problem?

Which wouldn't make sense because I have six capable WRs in my depth chart and five or six should sub in in that instance.

@bkvb2012yes, fully agree. that should be the case and it does not make sense at all, that only 10 players are on the field. my point was that I'd guess this bug occurs because there is a corrupt link between the formation and the database (i.e. the lineup). it might be the case that 2 positions in the formation are filled with the same player (if the player is assigned to SLWR and any WRx). I'd also guess that the game does not allow that one and the same player appears twice on the field (i.e. on two positions at the same time). that's why I assume the program code wrongly combines two positions into one and therefore 2 routes are linked to this one position...

but I'll do a quick search which formation it is. if you could tell me please what playbook you are using, it might be possible to reconstruct the bug.

I do believe that may be the issue just because I’m playing as the Broncos right now and Bradley Chubb and Jurrell Casey are out for the game and when ever I run a play that I’ve subbed them out for the bug happens. I’m not entirely positive if that is the only way the bug occurs but I think we’re headed in the right direction.. Hopefully like @Neo_Novalis said the dev team will see this and check it out. (I’ll see if I can get anymore pictures of guys playing out of position. It’s hilarious to see Someone like Bolles trying to cover Amari Cooper lmao)
