You'll want to go to Play Now and make sure both controllers are on. It should show two controllers so both of you can select the Away/Home teams.

how do you get to Play Now?

Can you play two-player through origin on a pc in franchise mode?
- EA_Blueberry@RogerWilco31 It has to be an offline franchise if you're trying to play it from the same PC.
